Will the 2050 be the realisation of the technological singularity? altering our landscape beyond comprehension and perhaps winning our war with gravity? Or will it be the same as it is now, only with more people emigrating to the poles to wage war with Polar Bears, Seals, Walruses, Penguins and oil tycoons? Or annoyingly will it be an over complicated mess of the two? Science will triumph in creating more complicated questions and spoil everything like Dawkins at a séance. The spirit, de-frocked and bored shitless will slope off to other realms.
