What if our civilization and the comforts of the industrial and computer era met a catastrophic end? Self sufficiency and an ability to live off the land would, again, become necessary for life. The portrait here presents the classic hunter-gatherer. A modern, futuristic man returning to the earth and the primitive means of survival.
Emiliano was born in Argentina and lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He has worked for many international clients and has exhibited his work around the world. He was named as one of PDN's Emerging Photographers to Watch in 2008. He recently published a project on the American Pastime of Spring Break which can be seen at quesofrito.com
Upcoming projects will focus on an investigation into popular culture, the desire for exhibition in the internet age, and a study of photography, itself.
